Northern Arizona University Adjunct Professor of the Year Award
SWCA's Southwest Principal Ken Houser received the 2013 Community Partner – Adjunct Professor of the Year award for Northern Arizona University's Geography, Planning and Recreation Department. Since 2010, Houser has taught Comprehensive NEPA, a 400-level graduate class in environmental planning.

SWCA ranked #24 on the top Denver-area engineering companies list (as ranked by Colorado revenue), published in the Feb. 22-28, 2013, edition of the Denver Business Journal.
National Safety Council Milestone Award
SWCA earned a Milestone Award from the National Safety Council for operating 377,220 employee hours without injury or illness involving days away from work. The 120-day period spans April 1 to Aug. 1, 2012.
