Overview:
SWCA was subcontracted by Water Resources Consulting Southwest to assist in assessing groundwater availability for a subdivision near Quartzsite, Arizona. Groundwater hydrology proved to be tricky, with deep water levels and a relatively unproductive fractured-bedrock aquifer; however, water supply was the sole limiting factor in completing the development and avoiding fines from ADEQ.
