Lassen Volcanic National Park, located in the Sierra Nevadas of northern California, selected SWCA to conduct a cultural resources inventory in support of the National Park's plan to complete prescribed burns and mechanical thinning on approximately 6,025 acres in three locations within the park.

· Cultural resources inventory for both prehistoric and historic resources

· Located and recorded archaeological and historic sites

· Completed an obsidian hydration and sourcing study

· Prepared a findings reports that included recommendations regarding the eligibility of sites for compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
