Overview:
SWCA teamed with Fluor Ames Kraemer, LLC (FAK) to provide environmental compliance management, monitoring, and reporting services for the design and construction of the $400 million, 14-mile Legacy Parkway project in Utah. This project is all new construction along the environmentally sensitive shores of Great Salt Lake.

Services Provided:
- Developed, implemented and documented an environmental training program
- Monitored, documented and resolved environmental compliance issues
- Coordinated with appropriate agencies on environmental compliance issues
- Recommended a proactive study of the hydrology/drainage and noxious weeds at the site
Results:
From the onset of this project, SWCA staff worked closely with construction personnel to educate them about project issues ranging from groundwater discharge to design alternatives. SWCA staff received high praise for their continued commitment of educating personnel about project issues and facilitating open communication between stakeholders.
