The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) selected SWCA to serve as the primary cultural resource specialists for the multi-year Eureka Mills Remediation Project (EMRP). The purpose of the EMRP is to mitigate the potential health risks associated with soil containments surrounding the mining community of Eureka, Utah. Because the mitigation activities have the potential to adversely impact historic resources, SWCA is assisting the EPA in meeting the mandates of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and other environmental legislation.
