Overview:
SWCA was retained by van Dijk Pace Westlake Architects as a member of an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract team to provide environmental compliance services for all proposed design and construction projects of the National Park Service Grand Canyon region.

- Archaeological surveys
- Tribal consultation
- Environmental and biological assessments
- EA for improvements at Desert View and the North Rim
- Cultural Landscape Reports for Indian Garden, North Rim and South Rim.
Results:
The improvements at Desert View, including realignment of Desert View Drive to move traffic away from the rim; construction of a new entrance station, parking lot and bus transit facility; and installation of additional visitor services, have been completed.
