Historic Preservation
The historians at SWCA follow the Secretary of the Interior's Standards to identify and preserve various historic resources. These experts determine the historic significance of buildings, landscapes, districts, roads and traditional cultural properties, as well as work to assure that historic integrity is maintained while client projects progress. They have experience with Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act and can guide clients through all activities of compliance. At SWCA, we not only work to find and identify historic entities, we also educate clients and communities about their importance.
