FERC Permit Compliance Management and Monitoring
As the agency that regulates the interstate transmission of natural gas, oil and electricity, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) plays a significant role in granting companies the licenses needed to complete their projects. FERC-regulated companies are expected to comply with all FERC regulations and codes of conduct; therefore, understanding these requirements is crucial for project success and long-term sustainability of company operations. SWCA has a staff of FERC experts who work alongside engineering and construction management personnel to guide them through the environmental permitting requirements and agreements that are required for their projects. SWCA offers extensive field experience with environmental issues faced on infrastructure projects, including erosion control and site stabilization, protection of water quality, biological resource protection, cultural resource management, and restoration and revegetation. SWCA is committed to partnering with our clients to provide effective services from pre-construction training to long-term monitoring of revegetation success. We also offer monitoring services in which we provide qualified field staff who are trained to effectively monitor construction activities while maintaining clear communication with owner/contractor project staff to ensure that regulations are followed throughout a project.
