Aquatic Biology
When it comes to water-dwelling species and their habitats, SWCA staff conducts a wide variety of biological activities for clients representing industries such as development, telecommunications, mining, energy and transportation. A large proportion of our work focuses on fish, specifically, survey and recovery activities for native and federally listed endangered species. We also conduct surveys and studies on aquatic insects, invertebrates, algae and water quality. Our mitigation planning expertise helps speed the process for clients to obtain necessary permits, and our services can support compliance activity in several different areas, including NEPA.
