Geographic Information Services
With more than 50 geospatial technology professionals, SWCA offers a comprehensive, full-service approach to geospatial technology integration into natural and cultural resource management. SWCA brings extensive experience and knowledge in geospatial data creation, integration, analysis, visualization, and application development, as well as delivering final products tailored to client’s requirements. SWCA’s use of industry-standard geographic information system (GIS), computer-aided design (CAD), Global Position System (GPS), and remote sensing tools supports seamless integration of geospatial-based technology with planning, management, and decision needs.

SWCA also employs the emerging technology of web-based virtual globe mapping tools, such as Google Earth™, as a powerful tool for visualizing and analyzing environmental information in an interactive mapping environment. The customized virtual globe increases access to planning and resource information for all levels of users and provides the ability to visualize data in a 3D environment.
