Tribal Rights and Cultural Resources
Regulations* (3 days)
This course is designed for members and employees of Indian tribes and other indigenous groups who work with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and other federal cultural resource regulations. The course acquaints participants with regulatory processes and the way agency interpretation of those processes can impede Native American participation. The course also explores methods that can be used in addressing such impediments.
