Anne is the Vice President for SWCA’s Great Basin and Pacific Northwest region, which includes our offices in Salt Lake City and Portland (Oregon). She has more than 25 years of experience in historic preservation and cultural resources management, as well as operations leadership and management.
Anne came to SWCA in 2012 as a preservationist specializing in architectural history and archaeological site conservation, advancing to a Technical Team Lead and Cultural Resources Program Director in the Salt Lake City office. Her work has resulted in more than a dozen publications and numerous presentations in the U.S. and abroad. She has served on the organizing committees of both regional and national preservation conferences and is the past Chairperson of the Salt Lake City Historic Landmark Commission and Vice Chairperson of the Salt Lake City and County Building Conservancy and Use Committee. She is currently a board member of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology.
Anne earned a master’s degree in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, with an emphasis in art and architectural history.
