2023: A Record-Breaking Year of Giving Back at SWCA
SWCA’s award-winning Gives Back program has been committed to making a positive impact towards meaningful causes across the country.
Giving Back is one of four core values central to SWCA. Over the last decade, SWCA’s award-winning Gives Back program has been committed to making a positive impact towards meaningful causes across the country. Providing staff with paid volunteer hours, matching grants for employee donations and volunteer events, and organizing annual company-wide fundraisers all foster our company-wide culture of giving.
In 2023, that spirit of giving was stronger than ever. SWCA increased our impact across the board, setting records for the number of hours employees volunteered, the number of local Gives Back events organized, and the largest total donation impact in company history.
Our offices organized 190 local volunteer and fundraising events to support disaster relief, food security, health and wellness, environmental education, animals and wildlife, disadvantaged youth, and more. These efforts benefited 172 local and nationwide nonprofit organizations.
We cleaned up our communities and restored outdoor spaces during our companywide Spring into Action Campaign; we rallied in a time of need to raise funds for Maui’s wildfire restoration efforts; and new to 2023, we matched employee donations for monthly causes chosen by our Employee Resource Groups. SWCA volunteered 3,513 hours as a company, and our employee donations and corporate matching totaled $194,960, up 20% from last year!
We are thankful for another impactful year of giving back to the communities we serve.
