Barbara Nick joined the SWCA Board of Directors in May 2024. With a career in the electric and gas energy industry that spanned four decades, Barbara is the retired CEO of Dairyland Power Cooperative, and has served on the Board of Directors for various Public and Private companies.
Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. She also holds a cybersecurity certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors. With a track record of creating significant stakeholder value through innovative leadership, Barbara brings to SWCA experience with mergers and acquisitions, renewable energy, and business transformations, as well as a deep respect for the SWCA mission, the people, and the business model of employee ownership.
