Michael Lanin

As Vice President of Finance & Risk Management, Mike oversees contract legal reviews, project accounting, client invoicing, collections, and financial analysis. He has a broad range of experience in project accounting and risk management gained from past experience with engineering, software development, and Fortune 500 companies. Based in Phoenix, Mike has been with SWCA since 2008.

Also serving as an officer in the US Navy reserve since 2003, Mike has gained operational risk management skills and has overseen complex real-world operations—equipping him to also lead SWCA’s robust safety program. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Arizona State University, as well as an MBA, and a master’s in Accounting and Financial Management.
