Bio

Dr. Steven W. Carothers is an aquatic and terrestrial biologist with more than 40 years of experience in ecological research, environmental regulatory compliance, and resource management. Steve has long served as a facilitator between the environmental regulatory structure and various kinds of resource use and management, both private and public.  Steve has written or co-authored numerous books on the ecology of the Grand Canyon and is a respected expert on the Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.
