About the opportunity

The Associate Business Application Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the SWCA SharePoint Online intranet, project sites, our extensive set of Power Platform productivity apps, and assisting with the administration of our Office365 environment. In the role of Associate Business Application Analyst, this person will be our champion and help us grow SharePoint based collaboration by our corporate and environmental science project teams. Aiding them in setting up sites, managing files and information sharing via OneDrive and MS Teams.  Additionally, this person will help us migrate the remaining handful of Classic sites to the modern templates.

In addition, we have leveraged the modern Power Platform creating site plugins and productivity apps (~40) for business staff and exclusively leveraging Power Automate flows for all data workflows within the SharePoint environment. In this role as Associate Business Application Analyst, you will maintain the existing applications, enhancing and fixing bugs.  You will also work with business staff to gather requirements and create new Power Apps.

Comfortable working in a highly collaborative team and effective in a constantly evolving technology environment. Naturally and innately curious, a lifelong learner. This is a full-time, regular, benefits-eligible position and can be worked in a hybrid or remote capacity.

What you will accomplish

  • Engage professionally with our staff to understand and meet their solution needs.
  • SharePoint Administration including modern site creation, granting permissions, managing external sharing, etc.
  • Manage the established standard and streamlined look, feel and function of SharePoint sites across the organization.
  • Act as technical resource for SharePoint, providing guidance, analysis, training, and support to business staff.
  • Collaborate with the software development team to maintain, support, and create new Power Apps for the business.
  • Manage external client access to SharePoint resources via the O365 permissions administration.

Experience and qualifications for success

  • Bachelor’s degree, relevant certifications, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience designing websites and working with a variety of media platforms.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating solutions in the Microsoft 365 Cloud Productivity suite.
  • SharePoint experience developing and administering the online environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with SaaS enterprise business platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, Freshservice, or similar. 
  • Exposure to API-based integrations and reporting/dashboarding tools. 
  • Understanding of IT governance, security, and best practices for managing enterprise applications.

An employee in this corporate based position can expect a pay rate of $34-$44/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.  Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
