
Jaap Eijzenga is the Vice President of Scientific and Technical Services at SWCA. In this role, he leads the project management, quality, field services, and technical publication leaders to achieve mutual goals and strategic initiatives for the science and technical team, in cooperation with other departments across SWCA.
With over two decades of experience in wildlife ecology, Jaap has led various projects across the US and Europe, specializing in research, resource management, endangered species compliance, and project management. His expertise includes managing and leading complex, multidisciplinary projects, demonstrating a commitment to advancing SWCA’s mission and scientific excellence.
Jaap holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management/Conservation Biology from the Van Hall Institute and a Master of Science in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from the University of Hawai’i.
