As Principal and Director of Finance & Risk Management, Mike leads contract legal reviews, project accounting, client invoicing, collections, and financial analysis. He has a broad range of experience in project accounting and risk management gained from engineering, software development, and Fortune 500 companies—with his primary focus on continuous improvements in efficiencies, quality, and customer service. Based in Phoenix, Mike has been with SWCA since 2008.
Also serving as an officer in the US Navy since 2003, Mike has gained operational risk management skills and has overseen complex real-world operations—equipping him to also oversee SWCA’s robust safety program. In addition, Mike functions as one of SWCA’s three Employee Stock Ownership Program Trustees. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Arizona State University, as well as an MBA, and a master’s in Accounting and Financial Management.
