Erica Gaddis Promoted to Vice President of Scientific & Technical Services
Erica Gaddis has been promoted to Vice President of Scientific & Technical Services. In this role, Erica will lead SWCA’s technical practice directors and guide enterprise-level strategies focused on scientific excellence, innovation, and career development. She will work closely with leaders across the company to scale technical capabilities and deliver integrated solutions for SWCA’s clients and communities.
Erica brings over 20 years of experience spanning environmental consulting, public service, academia, and international policy. She is a proud SWCA “boomeranger” with a combined 10 years at the company, most recently as Senior Water Resources Technical Director. Her previous roles include Director of Utah’s Division of Water Quality, Senior Policy Advisor to the Western States Water Council, and Principal Scientist at SWCA. She has led numerous water resources projects and programs related to water quality, hydrology, watershed management, and water resources planning.
Erica holds a PhD in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont, an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Central European University, and a BS in Biology and Environmental Science from Willamette University. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Leakey Foundation and regularly collaborates with the United Nations Environment Programme.
