Meaghan Trowbridge Promoted to Senior Cultural Resources Director
Meaghan Trowbridge is promoted to Senior Cultural Resources Director of SWCA’s New Mexico – Four Corners (NM4C) subregion. In this new role, Meaghan will leverage her experience and creativity to guide the development of the team, drive client satisfaction, ensure successful project execution, and enhance technical processes to maintain SWCA’s leadership in cultural resources practice in the greater New Mexico area.
She holds a master’s degree in Anthropological Archaeology from the University of Arizona, specializing in ceramics of the Southwest. Meaghan’s career in consulting began as a field technician and analyst, followed by roles as a crew lead and project manager before she joined SWCA.
Joining SWCA as a project manager in 2014, she quickly demonstrated her capability by leading complex projects and taking on significant operational leadership responsibilities. At SWCA, she has managed the subregion’s largest and most complex cultural resources projects, including SunZia wind, which will be the largest renewable energy project in the Western Hemisphere when it becomes operational in 2026.
“Our NM4C Cultural Resources team is full of talent and expertise. I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to grow this amazing group, to emphasize sound science and quality, and to further solidify our position as the preeminent cultural resources consultant in the New Mexico – Four Corners region,” said Meaghan.
