Sticker with the words "SWCA reduce waste. Minimize our Footprint". With the earth and small icons of waste. As part of SWCA’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are excited to introduce our Sustainable Field Practices. Created around two Guiding Principles, Reduce Waste and Respect the Environment, these practices mark the next step in our sustainability journey—expanding our efforts beyond the office and into the field.

Embodying our Never Settle mindset, these practices drive us toward our North Star: making SWCA the best workplace and an industry leader in sustainability. Our 2 Guiding Principles and 13 Field Practices were selected because they can easily be woven into the everyday work of SWCA employees. In fact, some of these practices, such as recycling, and carpooling, are already part of our regular field activities.

With safety at the forefront, these Sustainable Field Practices are intended to guide and inspire sustainable choices at the individual level, so all our employees can help contribute to a more sustainable SWCA, wherever they are.

“At SWCA, our commitment to sustainability is woven into everything we do—including our work in the field. These new Sustainable Field Practices are another way we’re living our North Star. By focusing on reducing waste and respecting the environment, we’re making sure our work leaves as little negative impact as possible, and that is something our teams can feel good about every day,” said Field Services technical director, Paul Burnett.
