Anne Cabrera Appointed Chair of ACEC Water & Environment Committee
SWCA Environmental Consultants congratulates Anne Cabrera, SWCA’s vice president of client services for environment and infrastructure, on her appointment as Chair of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Water & Environment Committee.
As Chair, Cabrera will oversee the strategic goals and operational objectives of the committee, including raising awareness of water and environmental issues on Capitol Hill and engaging with relevant legislative offices and regulatory agencies to modernize permitting processes and implementing water and environmental programs.
“As Chair of the ACEC Water & Environment Committee, I’m most looking forward to collaborating with industry experts and stakeholders, associations, and client organizations to develop innovative solutions that address current challenges,” said Anne Cabrera. “Our committee serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, bringing together diverse voices and expertise to tackle pressing water and environmental issues impacting our industry.”
This prestigious role places Cabrera at the forefront of national advocacy as the committee plays a pivotal role in increasing ACEC’s visibility on Capitol Hill, advocating for legislative reforms and infrastructure investments that are vital to advancing the water and environmental sectors.
Primarily focused on public sector clients at the federal, state, and local level, Cabrera brings nearly 20 years of experience in government policy, public funding, multi-agency coordination, and innovative projects in the resilience space. Cabrera previously served as Vice Chair for the ACEC Water & Environment Committee for the past two years.
