SBTi Commitment and Decarbonization Planning

SWCA was a central contributor to the Science-Based Targets (SBTi) initiative commitment process for a food and beverage company operating in Latin America. The project involved establishing ambitious greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets for 2030 aligned with 1.5°C and Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) ambition to mitigate the severe impacts of climate change. In addition, SWCA supported the client in the development of a comprehensive decarbonization plan designed to achieve these targets. This plan incorporated extensive internal stakeholder engagement to capture business dynamics and align with the company’s future strategic objectives.
