Description

SWCA is providing comprehensive environmental consulting services for a proposed transmission line project. The transmission line stretches approximately 290 miles, from Pueblo, Colorado to Guymon, Oklahoma. Our team is conducting cultural resource surveys (archaeological and built environment) surveys; viewshed analyses; biological habitat, wetlands/waterbodies, and eagle and raptor nest surveys; and topsoil testing, with field personnel responsible for digging soil cores to identify topsoil salvage depths and collect samples for laboratory analysis.

SWCA is also coordinating with more than 20 Native American Tribes participating in the project and is facilitating a concurrent tribal resources survey with Tribal Cultural Specialists from those Tribes to identify significant tribal resources outside of traditional archaeological resources.
