Founded in 1981 by ecologist Dr. Steven W. Carothers, SWCA Environmental Consultants is now an employee-owned company of natural and cultural resource specialists, environmental planners, and technical specialists. We specialize in environmental regulatory compliance, natural and cultural resource management, sustainability planning, and related research. SWCA offers a top-to-bottom organizational focus on these fields that most engineering-based firms lack, and professional development opportunities that local specialty shops often can’t provide.
