Grand Teton National Park Colter Bay Master Plan Support

SWCA is developing a cultural landscape report and is providing assistance with master plan development for this historic landscape in the Colter Bay area of Grand Teton National Park. This large recreation site includes more than 300 camp sites; numerous recreational vehicles sites, cabins, and tent cabins; a visitor center; restaurants; stores; laundry services; hiking trails; beaches; and a marina. This historic designed landscape is known as the proving grounds for what became the Mission 66 period. The cultural landscape report will guide long-term management of and treatment planning for the landscape and will support an ongoing master planning effort and associated environmental assessment.
