James Wickman Promoted to Compensation & Workforce Insights Director
James Wickman has been promoted to Compensation and Workforce Insights Director. In this role, James will lead SWCA’s compensation, human resources technology, and people analytics functions, with a strategic focus on helping SWCA be an industry leader in equitable and competitive compensation while strengthening the people data and technology that support informed business decisions. Working in partnership with leaders across the company, James and his team will provide the tools, insights, and expertise that help turn information into confident action and enhance the employee experience.
James’s promotion reflects the significant impact he has made in strengthening SWCA’s compensation strategy and the expanding role his team will play in supporting leaders with trusted people data, meaningful analytics, and human resources technology. Since joining SWCA nearly two and a half years ago, James has led initiatives including the companywide job description project, market pricing efforts, annual merit and bonus cycles, and the continued evolution of SWCA’s compensation programs. His work has helped establish consistent compensation practices while creating a stronger foundation for workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
As SWCA continues to evolve its people strategies, James’s leadership will be instrumental in ensuring compensation, human resources technology, and people analytics work together to provide practical value for leaders across the company. His expertise in compensation, analytical approach, and collaborative leadership will help drive data-informed decisions, improve operational effectiveness, and position SWCA for continued growth.
