About the opportunity

The Associate Human Resources CoordinatorGive Back supports SWCA’s corporate philanthropy and community engagement programs through coordination of donation management, nonprofit partnerships, employee volunteer initiatives, and internal communications. This role helps administer key components of the SWCA Gives Back program and works closely with the Gives Back Director to support annual goals, track program performance, and identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement and community impact. The position collaborates with internal teams and Local Office Champions (LOCs) across the company to help advance SWCA’s core value of Gives Back.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and an interest in philanthropy and community engagement. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and motivated to help expand employee participation and strengthen SWCA’s community impact.

This is a full-time, regular (with benefits), non-exempt, hourly position. The preferred location for this position is our Broomfield, CO office but highly qualified individuals located near any SWCA office in the United States will be seriously considered. Hybrid work environments are encouraged.

What you will accomplish

Key Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and ongoing engagement of Local Office Champions (LOCs), including coordinating regular meetings to share updates, resources, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with LOCs to plan and implement local volunteer, fundraising, and community engagement events, and provide guidance on Gives Back programs, matching grants, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Administer the SWCA matching grant and sponsorship request processes, including processing charitable matches and maintaining accurate records of requests, approvals, photos, and contributions.
  • Track giving metrics, volunteer hours, and program participation, and compile program metrics to support reporting on Gives Back engagement and impact.
  • Partner with the Gives Back Director, Committee, and Marketing team to plan and implement regional and company-wide fundraisers and volunteer initiatives.
  • Research and engage nonprofit partners aligned with SWCA’s mission and help connect employees with meaningful community engagement opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver training and resources for LOCs, leadership, and employees related to the Gives Back program.
  • Maintain Gives Back webpages and resources, and draft communications and promotional content in collaboration with internal communications and marketing teams.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, Tribal, state, local, contractual, industry, and company requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience and qualifications for success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, corporate philanthropy, or a related field highly preferred. Equivalent experience can replace the specific degree requirement.
  • At least three (3) years of job experience in program administration, or corporate philanthropy.
  • 1 year of experience supporting employee engagement initiatives or corporate social responsibility programs.
  • 2 years of experience with data tracking, reporting tools, or program metrics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

An employee in this Denver, CO-based position can expect an hourly rate of $32.25/hour to $42.17/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
