Erik Anderson Promoted to Planning Director - Great Basin
Erik Anderson has been promoted to Planning Director of the Great Basin subregion. In this role, Erik will oversee and enhance planning and permitting operations, focusing on staff development, client relations, project management, strategic planning, and compliance.
Erik joined SWCA in September 2023 and has more than two decades of experience in team leadership, project management, environmental consulting, and business development. His expertise spans program management, strategy, collaboration, environmental compliance, and NEPA.
Erik has experience in environmental impact statements and environmental assessments, having led projects for federal agencies such as the BLM, US Forest Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, and FEMA. He holds a master’s degree in environmental policy and management from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Utah State University.
