Kevin Miller Appointed to Oversee Strategic Growth for Cultural Resources Service Line
SWCA names Kevin Miller Client Services Vice President of Cultural Resources to lead the service line’s national growth strategy. In this newly established role, Miller will work with regional cultural resources teams to advance strategic initiatives and enhance client relationships, technical capabilities, technology offerings, and creative solutions.
“We’ve provided cultural resources support since the 1980s. Kevin’s expertise and passion played an integral role in building that foundation across multiple states and SWCA offices,” said Joseph J. Fluder, III, CEO and President of SWCA. “We’re excited for Kevin to take our cultural resources services to the next level and continue SWCA’s preeminent cultural resources presence in the nation.”
Miller began his career with SWCA in 1993 as an archaeologist and advanced his career through a variety of leadership positions. He helped build SWCA’s cultural resources program in Texas to be the largest in the state before moving to operational management. Most recently, Kevin served as the vice president for the Austin, Texas, office and the Central Texas/Oklahoma subregion managing more than 150 employees across three offices.
“I’m really excited to connect and collaborate with the more than 400 cultural resource colleagues across SWCA to elevate our practice,” said Miller. “We have a great team and it’s all about being able to offer a full range of quality cultural resources management services from field capabilities, data management, historic preservation, tribal consultation, compliance, and more, to better serve our clients across the country.”
