Vanessa Ortiz Promoted to Strategic Growth Director - Southern California

Vanessa Ortiz has been promoted to Strategic Growth Director – Transmission, Southern California.

In this role, Vanessa will focus on advancing SWCA’s strategic growth initiatives in Southern California, with an emphasis on diversifying and expanding transmission work. She will strengthen client relationships, identify and pursue new opportunities, and support the continued success of our teams and business objectives. Working closely with Client Services, Marketing, Delivery, and our local team, Vanessa will help advance strategic opportunities and strengthen our position in the Southern California market.

Since joining SWCA in 2021, Vanessa has become an integral member of the Southern California team, serving as Deputy Contract Manager on the Southern California Edison (SCE) on-call contract and project and program manager on major environmental projects and operations and maintenance workstreams. She delivers exceptional client service and mentors others to do the same.

Through her collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, Vanessa has demonstrated strong leadership, a commitment to our clients and teams, and an ability to identify opportunities that drive meaningful growth and strengthen our business. Her dedication to delivering results has made a lasting impact on the SCE contract and the teams she has supported.
