Scott has been instrumental in the company’s growth in Sheridan, Bismarck, Pittsburgh, and Chicago, and now serves as SWCA’s Principal for Business Development Resources focusing on new business and sales. He also serves as the Principal leading the Air Quality and Environmental Inspection programs.
He has more than two decades of experience in Paleoindian, Archaic, Late Prehistoric, and historic archaeological surveying, testing, and excavation throughout the Rocky Mountains, Central Plains, and Eastern United States. He also has extensive experience as a principal investigator and project manager specializing in oil and gas projects, large pipelines and facilities (both FERC and non-FERC regulated), electrical transmission projects, wind generation projects, and Department of Transportation projects, and environmental inspection and compliance. He is an expert in the National Historic Preservation Act, Section 106 recommendations, and Federal Highway Administration Section 4(f) laws. He holds a B.A. in anthropology from Purdue University and an M.A. in anthropology from Colorado State University.
