Eric Myers Promoted to Strategic Growth Vice President
Eric Myers has been promoted to Strategic Growth Vice President. In this role, Eric will be responsible for advancing client relationships, business development strategy, geographic growth, and staff development on a national scale for SWCA.
Eric will also manage select clients and projects in addition to developing and supporting national-scale service line initiatives related to transmission and generation. Working closely with Operations, Eric will mentor, collaborate with, and guide strategic growth directors throughout OneSWCA to direct large pursuits, expand our portfolio with current clients, and develop new markets.
Eric brings a diverse background with many years of experience in electric utilities, commercial transmission, and renewables development. His project experience includes transmission line and utility-scale solar and wind development, acquisitions, and utility partnerships from New England to Alaska.
Eric obtained degrees in Political Science and Environmental Electric Transmission Studies from the University of Wisconsin and completed his MBA while working as an environmental policy analyst and advocate in Washington, D.C. He gained experience in utility transmission line siting and maintenance issues while representing U.S. electric utilities on clean air act, climate change, federal land management policy, endangered species, siting, and vegetation management compliance issues.
