Bio

As Vice President, Mike is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Midwest/Northeast subregion, including SWCA’s offices in Amherst, Boston, Chicago, New Buffalo, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Portland, ME.

Mike earned his BS and MS in wildlife biology from the University of Massachusetts and has 27 years of consulting experience with licensing and permitting large-scale energy projects throughout the U.S. He has served as a Senior Project Manager on multiple complex, multi-state projects involving federal, state, and local permit and license applications, and management of biological and cultural field studies. He joined SWCA in 2019 to lead the establishment of the Portland, Maine office, planting SWCA’s easternmost flag and recruiting a high-performing team of consulting professionals.
