David Briglio Joins SWCA as Vice President of Engineering

Dave Briglio joins SWCA as Vice President of Engineering. In this role, Dave will oversee expanding engineering operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure we continue to deliver top-tier service to clients.

Dave brings 35 years of diverse experience in the engineering field, starting with surveying, roadways, utility design, and construction management. His focus, has since, shifted to riverine modeling, watershed restoration, and developing stormwater management programs. In 2001, he earned his master’s degree from Georgia Tech with a focus on Water Resources.

Dave’s career has taken him to various locations, including Atlanta, Jacksonville, Baltimore, and most recently, Boston, as he took on expanding business development and leadership roles. His experience includes significant projects such as the Chesapeake Bay restoration, historic mill restorations, and serving as an expert witness on several occasions for homeowners affected by development in floodplains.
