Rob Lackowicz Named SWCA Gulf Coast Disaster and Resilience Director
Rob Lackowicz has been named SWCA’s Gulf Coast Region Disaster and Resilience Director. He will be working closely with Anne Cabrera, who recently joined SWCA as the National Disaster and Resilience Director. With Anne and other leaders in SWCA’s Climate Driven Services line, Rob will work to expand SWCA’s role in large-scale resilience and recovery programs into other Gulf Coast and Atlantic offices.
“As we have all seen through this year’s constant barrage of interior river flooding, hurricanes, and wildfires, there are few portions of the U.S. that are not affected by natural disasters,” said Rob. “Every federally-funded recovery action requires an environmental review and I look forward to finding new opportunities for SWCA’s expertise and staff capacity to quickly help communities affected by these disasters to rebuild stronger and prevent future catastrophic damage.”
