Alison Witheridge Joins SWCA as Senior Water Resources Technical Director

Alison Witheridge has joined SWCA as Senior Water Resources Technical Director. In this role, Alison will collaborate across the organization to advance our water resources strategy, strengthening technical capabilities, developing future leaders, and driving growth across offices, clients, and business lines.

Alison brings more than 25 years of experience spanning environmental consulting, public-sector leadership, and applied water research. Most recently, she led Denver Water’s first comprehensive watershed program, where she advanced enterprise-wide strategy, championed data‑driven decision‑making, and developed innovative tools to address complex water resource challenges. She also brings enterprise-level leadership, deep expertise in water regulations, a strong track record of guiding complex multi‑stakeholder initiatives, and a passion for mentoring high‑performing teams.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia, with a major in Environmental Economics and Management and an emphasis in Water Resources. She also earned a Master of Public Administration from San Diego State University.
