Pasadena, Calif. - Dr. Heather Gibson has been promoted to the California and Pacific Islands Cultural and Paleontological Resources Director position.
Heather joined SWCA in 2014 as a Principal Investigator, providing technical oversight on projects and senior review on deliverables throughout California. She was promoted to Pasadena Archaeology Team Lead in 2016, expanding that role to Cultural Resources Team Lead in 2017, when she took on management of the architectural history and paleontology groups. In addition to Heather’s considerable technical expertise in archaeology, she has exceptional strengths in client and project management, business development, and staff management and mentorship. In her new role, she will work collaboratively with principals, directors, and other regional leads to support our high-quality cultural resources services throughout the California and Pacific Islands region.
