Sarah Nicolaysen has been named Cultural Resources Program Director in SWCA’s Salt Lake City Office.

Sarah Nicolaysen Sarah joined SWCA as a field technician early in her career. During her 14-year tenure with SWCA, she has worked her way up, holding positions including lab manager, program coordinator, project manager, and operations lead. In that time, she has led large teams in cultural resources regulatory permitting and compliance efforts throughout the Great Basin region.

“Sarah is a dedicated leader and effective operations manager who fosters staff development and team success, meets client and business objectives, and expands the reputation of technical excellence in the Salt Lake City office,” says Anne Oliver, SWCA’s Great Basin/Pacific Northwest Vice President. “We’re looking forward to her contributions as we move forward into 2021 and beyond.”

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in archaeology.
