With seven offices in California, the SWCA team has conducted multiple constraints analyses in support of offshore wind development along the California coast. SWCA’s staff understand the regulatory and resource complexities that exist and overlap within the offshore, nearshore, and onshore environments. We have been leading the Offshore Wind California/American Clean Power-California permitting workgroup for the last 18 months which has put us at the forefront of California State agency negotiations and decision-making on how to ensure offshore wind has a path to an efficient, coordinated and predictable state permitting process.
