Chad Ricklefs has joined SWCA as the NEPA Team Lead in the company’s Salt Lake City office. In this role, Chad will work to build the office’s NEPA program, providing leadership to current staff, recruiting new practitioners, developing business opportunities within Utah and beyond, and coordinating with other offices across the country.
Chad’s experience includes managing and preparing NEPA analyses for energy development and transmission corridors; roadways and public transit facilities; natural resource management plans; water supply-supply projects; and land use plans for federal agencies, including the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as third-party applicants. He has a proven track record of completing complex, controversial projects requiring a streamlined NEPA and planning process.
Chad holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Colorado, with an emphasis in environmental planning.
