Pauline Roberts, Ph.D. has been promoted to Southern California’s Natural Resources Technical Director. In this role, Pauline will lead the region’s natural resources technical quality program with the goal of fortifying SWCA’s reputation for technical excellence and continue to provide organizational and business development leadership. Pauline has been with SWCA for 8 years as Senior Biologist, Natural Resources Team Lead, and Principal Wildlife Biologist, with a focus on renewable energy generation and transmission infrastructure.
Pauline’s 27 years of natural resources experience include leading the State of Hawaii’s program to conserve and recover the Island of Kauai’s endangered songbirds, research on avian population and behavioral ecology in the eastern U.S. for her Ph.D., and fieldwork in Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, Missouri, Idaho, northern California, and Australia.
