James Ferguson has joined SWCA’s Pasadena Office as a Natural Resources Project Manager. He is an environmental scientist with extensive experience in utility-scale solar project development and environmental compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Sections 401 and 404 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) and Endangered Species Act (ESA).

James Ferguson James has worked on solar development with local agencies across the Western U.S., including various tribes, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Colorado Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, Oregon Department of State Lands, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon State Historic Preservation Office, and numerous local planning commissions. He is also experienced in environmental compliance audits of operational generation facilities, including natural gas and renewables facilities, and corporate sustainability reporting.
